Project Overview

The Munshiganj Masjid is a landmark project in Munshiganj, designed to serve the community with a beautifully structured place of worship. This project involves meticulous planning, structural drafting, project coordination, and comprehensive management to ensure its successful execution.

My Responsibilities

1. Structural Design and Drafting

• Drafted the detailed structural design of the masjid, ensuring compliance with architectural aesthetics and structural integrity.

• Prepared the authority drawing following the Bangladesh PWD Schedule 2018, adhering to local building codes and regulations.

2. Project Management

• Served as the project head, overseeing all aspects of the construction and management.

• Coordinated with clients, contractors, site engineers, and senior architects to ensure smooth project execution.

• Regularly visited the construction site to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide immediate solutions.

• Used MS Project to prepare and update daily worker sheets and work completion reports.

  
  

3. Budget and Cost Management

• Created the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) to estimate the approximate construction cost.

• Surveyed the market with the site engineer to procure high-quality materials at the most competitive prices.

• Drafted agreements to finalize deals with clients, ensuring all terms were clear and mutually beneficial.

4. Team Leadership and Coordination

• Led a team of engineers, contractors, and workers, ensuring tasks were completed on time and to the highest standards.

• Supervised the electrical and plumbing works with the assistance of the electrical engineer to ensure seamless integration with the structural framework.

• Managed material requisitions based on site requirements and maintained inventory accuracy.

5. Quality Assurance

• Collaborated with senior architects during site visits to address construction errors and maintain quality.
