The Prosen Singha Duplex Building is a modern residential project designed to provide a structurally sound and aesthetically refined living space. As the Assistant Structural Engineer, my role was crucial in designing and implementing structural solutions for this duplex residence.

Structural Modeling and Analysis • Conducted structural modeling and analysis using ETABS to ensure stability and safety. • Assessed load distribution, stress factors, and seismic resistance for optimal performance. 2. Structural Design • Designed key structural components, including: o Footings: Engineered reinforced footings to support the building’s load efficiently. o Short Columns & Floor Columns: Designed to facilitate optimal load transfer and structural integrity. o Grade Beams: Integrated for enhanced stability and load distribution. o Slabs: Developed reinforced concrete slabs ensuring deflection control and strength. • Prepared comprehensive structural drawings aligning with architectural specifications. 3. Plumbing and Structural Integration • Drafted plumbing layouts in coordination with the structural framework to optimize space utilization and efficiency. 4. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) • Developed accurate BOQ and MOQ for cost estimation and material procurement planning. • Ensured material specifications met project requirements and budget constraints. 5. Coordination and Quality Assurance • Worked closely with architects, contractors, and site engineers to maintain construction accuracy. • Conducted routine site inspections to oversee progress and adherence to structural guidelines. • Supervised material quality and construction practices to uphold engineering standards.
