My Responsibility

In my role as an Assistant Structural Engineer for the Proposed 5 Storied Public Library Building at Nilphamari, I have undertaken the following responsibilities:
•	Client Coordination: Effectively communicated with clients to understand their requirements and ensure the structural aspects align with their vision.
•	Soil Report Analysis: Evaluated soil investigation reports to determine the soil's bearing capacity and its suitability for the proposed structure.
•	Soil Test Inspection: Supervised and inspected on-site soil testing processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
•	Structural Model Analysis: Used ETABS to create and analyze structural models, ensuring optimal load distribution and structural integrity.
•	Structural Drawings: Prepared detailed structural drawings, including reinforcement detailing and design layouts.
•	Authority Drawings: Created submission-ready drawings for approval from local authorities, adhering to applicable codes and regulations.
•	Working Drawings: Delivered comprehensive working drawings for on-site execution, detailing dimensions, materials, and specifications.
Additionally, as an Assistant Structural Engineer, I:
•	Conducted regular site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance with structural plans, and resolve on-site challenges.
•	Ensured all designs adhere to national and international building codes and standards.
•	Collaborated with architects and other engineers to ensure the project integrates structural, aesthetic, and functional elements.
•	Performed quality control checks on materials and construction techniques.
•	Assisted in cost estimation related to structural components to align with project budgets.
•	Documented and maintained records of all calculations, approvals, and revisions for future reference.
These duties collectively contribute to the safe, efficient, and successful execution of the library project.
