Data Democratization for Enhanced Business Performance: Enabling Self-Service Analytics for Empowering Remote Workforce Management

This paper discusses how to enable self-service analytics for remote workforce management. As a qualitative study, the paper assesses new trends in remote work and data democratization to understand organizational difficulties with these models. It showcases how the importance of self- service analytics tools opens up a more decentralized advanced environment where remote workers can feed the necessary data during their working hours without relying as much on the IT departments. The research also provides an integration model for a data input strategy subsystem, including Google Sheets and other similar data input tools with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP, to quickly update data in real time and make informed decisions. Also, concerns about role- based access and security measures to ensure data procedural and data security are mentioned. The paper concludes with a proposed model for an implementable solution for improving business agility and performance, building on the best practices of remote work and data democratization.
